Artist Statement:
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah, and I’m thrilled to have you here.
Let me share a bit about myself. I hold a degree in fine art and sculpture, with distinctions. I’m passionate about the animal kingdom and the environment. During the lockdown, I decided to share my sculpture templates with the public to keep creativity flowing while we were all stuck at home.
The templates were a huge hit! So, I started making more and more, sharing them, and selling them to the public. Of course, I had to demonstrate how to use the templates, so I ran free sculpture classes online. It was wonderful to watch others create their own masterpieces using my templates.
These sculptures I have available are ones I used to showcase how easy it is to make ceramic sculptures using my designs. They are unique and bespoke original works of art that have inspired many people to try sculpture.
My aim is to remind people about the beauty of the animal kingdom and the importance of protecting it. I do this by painting and sculpting endangered or at-risk animals, as well as my favourite creatures.
If you’d like to try a template, you can find them on Etsy my shop name is backyardartsd.etsy.com If you’d like to purchase one of my original pieces of art, please send me an email for the cost and location for collection as I do submit my works in local galleries so you can visit me in person.
